COLVILLE YOUTH GROUP

We’re excited to share that The Junction has received funding from Sport New Zealand’s Tū Manawa fund, supported by Sport Waikato, to continue our Colville Tamariki Surfing Programme for the 2025-2026 season.

This summer 2026, on Wednesdays 3pm, the

Junction is offering a surfing

 programme for our tamariki.

Our 25/26 summer surfing and snorkelling sessions have been a highlight for our tamariki.
Thank you to our amazing volunteers for sharing their time and skills.

Colville Junction is  also delighted to acknowledge the generous support of the Potter Masonic Trust, who helped fund key parts of our Youth Programme — including a magical visit to Cirque du Soleil and not one but two youth camps!
Thanks to this backing, 35 tamariki from our remote Northern Coromandel communities were able to take part in a transformative outdoor education journey, building confidence, leadership skills, and lifelong memories.
We’re deeply grateful to the Trust for believing in our kaupapa and investing in the potential of our young people. Watch this space — there’s plenty more magic to come! 💚
